Matthew 4:12-25 - From Nets To Nations
Jul 13, 2025 • Mike Montgomery
Jesus began His ministry in Galilee, a region considered dark and undesirable, deliberately choosing to reach the overlooked and broken. He called ordinary fishermen - Peter, Andrew, James, and John - who immediately left their nets to follow Him. Jesus' ministry combined teaching, preaching, and healing, addressing both spiritual and physical needs. This pattern reveals that God often works in unexpected ways and places, using ordinary people who are simply willing to follow. The question isn't about our ability but our availability - are we willing to leave our 'nets' of comfort to participate in His extraordinary mission?
